Sell2Dealers Australia
Sell your car to a licensed dealer
List your car once and let licensed Australian dealers come to you with offers. You keep the car while it's listed, your details stay private while dealers bid, and you only pay if you accept an offer and your car sells. How it works: Step 1 — List your car. Click Get Started or Sell My Car and fill in your car's details — make, model, year, kilometres, condition, VIN, and photos. Your listing goes live immediately and stays active for 30 days. There is no upfront fee and no card required. Step 2 — Receive offers from licensed dealers. Approved, licence-checked dealers browse your listing and submit offers. Each offer shows the amount, an optional message from the dealer, and how long the offer is valid. Dealer identities stay confidential during bidding — and so do yours. Step 3 — Accept the offer that suits you. Compare the offers in your Seller Dashboard and accept the one that works. Only then is the dealer notified; they confirm by paying the reveal fee, and your contact details are exchanged so you can deal directly. If you never accept, your details were never shared — and it cost you nothing. Step 4 — Arrange the sale. Deal directly with the dealer to complete the sale. Depending on your state, a safety certificate or roadworthy inspection may be needed before the rego can transfer — see the state-by-state guide on the Articles page. Frequently asked questions: Is it free to list my car? There is no upfront fee to list your car or receive offers, and no card is required to publish a listing. One flat $199 fee — only if your car sells. No upfront cost. How long does my listing stay active? Listings stay active for 30 days. If your listing expires before you accept an offer, you can renew it for another 30 days from your Seller Dashboard. Do dealers see my personal details? No. While your car is listed, dealers see the vehicle and its details — not your identity or contact information. Your details are revealed to a dealer only after you accept that dealer's offer and the dealer completes the reveal step. What happens after I accept an offer? The dealer is notified and has a limited window to pay the reveal fee to unlock your contact information. Once they do, you receive the dealer's contact details and the two of you arrange the sale directly — including the rego transfer and any safety certificate your state requires.
